Payments

Checkout is a secure payment method for you. The Financial Supervisory Authority has granted us the operating licence for a credit institution. The service is maintained by Checkout Finland Oy (business ID 2196606-6) and Checkout Finland Oy is part of the OP Group.

Checkout, our payment intermediary service, transfers your payments to vendors. If Checkout Finland Oy appears on your bank statement or credit card invoice, we have transferred your payment.

The responsibility for the marketing of products and services and delivery of products to customers lies with the online stores. The stores take care of trade-related statutory obligations and self-established other liabilities. If you wish to submit a complaint or return a product, you should contact directly the online store from which the product was purchased.

Bank fees

Payment buttons for all banks in Finland are at your disposal. You can choose the payment buttons of Aktia, Danske Bank, Handelsbanken, Nordea, Oma Säästöpankki, Osuuspankki, POP-pankki, Säästöpankki, S-pankki, and Ålandsbanken for making a payment. Checkout Finland Oy appears on your bank statement as the payment receiver, since we transfer your payment to the online store. From the online store, you will be securely directed to your home bank for making a payment.

Checkout Finland also supports payments by bank transfer form.

Credit card payments

You can pay by Visa, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Debit MasterCard, and American Express cards at the online store. The online store uses international Verified by Visa, MasterCard SecureCode, and American Express SafeKey authentication services. Checkout appears as the payment receiver on the card invoice and forwards the card payment made directly to the vendor. Card payments are made securely using a secure payment form and payment card details are not stored in the systems of the online store.

Mobile payment options

Mobile payment options Pivo, MobilePay, Masterpass, and Siirto are in-app services allowing paying for online purchases by bank transfer from your account or by card payment from your card by confirming the payment in the app. Pivo is also usable to make Siirto-payments, in which case the payment can be confirmed in any application supporting Siirto.

Invoice and instalment payments

OP, Collector, Jousto, and Mash (formerly Euroloan) offer invoice and instalment payment services via Checkout. Collector offers invoice and instalment payment options for corporate customers as well.
